Juliana’s and Emma’s B’not Mitzvah at Temple Kol Emeth

After a beautiful service at Kol Emeth, the families arrived on a perfect day at the gazebo outside of the Old Towne Club. Once photos were finished, guests began arriving to an array of florals and balloons artfully arranged by the gifted hands of Luna- from Total Lunacy of course!

Cathy Schwartz and the gang from Atlanta Fever were on hand, and  Emma and Juliana rocked to the beat as their friends gathered on the dance floor. After cocktails, the adults were admitted to the party room, just in time for the grand entrances for each girl.

Dancing and hora, good food and drink, what a great weekend- the best I think!

Mazel Tov Emma, Juliana and all of your families!

Jake Flink’s Bar Mitzvah

I met Lori Flink through another client of mine. After meeting her, I knew I really wanted to work with her and her son Jake. Lori had some really cool ideas about the way  she wanted the weekend to look, and I was excited about helping her!

Along with his portrait session at Centennial High, I photographed Jake with a portable green screen for a cardboard stand-out that Lori envisioned greeting the guests as they arrived at The Metropolitan Club.

Once the big weekend arrived, I photographed Jake and his family at Gesher L’torah, at his Shabbat Dinner and of course- at the party Saturday Night!

One of Lori’s friend’s designed the event- she did a great job! DJ Tod mixed the beats, and all of the guests had a great time!

Mazel Tov, Jake!

Juliana’s Signing Book Session

Meet Juliana- Emma’s partner in crime and Mitzvah! Bubbly and vivacious, she chose Roswell Mill as the stage for our shoot.

Here’s Juliana!

Olivia and Zoe’s B’nai Mitzvah at Temple Sinai

So the day was finally here- a coming together of celebration and blessing, a culmination all the careful planning by mom Abby and Magnolia Events, great food and decor from Bold American and A Divine Event, entertainment and dancing from Vibe!

Guests were greeted at the entrance to Mason Murer Fine Art, and then made their way to the meticulously decorated party space at the gallery. While the adults enjoyed cocktails and delicious bites the kids rocked out with Jamal.

Everyone gathered round for an original song from the dynamic duo of O and Z, and then danced until midnight.

What a great weekend for the girls! Mazel tov!

Emma’s Signing Book Session 1

I met Meredith, Emma’s mom at the Mitzvah Expo last year. Meredith was there with her good friend Wendy and a few weeks later they booked me for the girls’ B’not Mitzvah.

We shot three sessions- one for each girl and the last together.

Here are some of my favorites from Emma’s shoot at McDaniel Farm Park in Duluth.

Olivia and Zoe’s Photo Shoots

Double the fun- twins Zoe and Olivia were great to work with! They had seen some of the  images I had created for cousin Julia’s signing board, so they were super excited for their sessions.

I photographed the girls in downtown Decatur over the winter, and in the spring in their backyard along the Chattahochee River.

From those sessions, I created two Crystal Signature ™ sign in boards that were displayed at the entrance to the party at Mason Murer Fine Art .

Take a look!

The composites above were bonded to the fabricated Lucite to create the stunning Crystal Signature ™ boards- you can see them below at the party. Inquire about adding one of  these to the decor at your next event!

Max Adelman’s Bar Mitzvah at The Temple

What a great day of ritual and fun! As I waited for the family after  services, I could hear all of the comments about how well Max had done, how eloquent his D’var Torah had been.

From the Kiddush after services at The Temple to the horah at the Emory Conference Center later that night, the weekend the Adelman’s spent a year planning had become a fantastical reality.

Track 7 events turned the room into a wonderland of light and shadow, and Vibe Entertainment wowed the crowd and had everyone on their feet. While the adults enjoyed cocktail, the kids bowled at Wisteria Lanes– the retro party space at Emory.

Mazel Tov to Max!

Dori Balser’s Photo Shoot

Dori’s going to be a fashion model one day- can’t you tell? 🙂

You should see the signing book!

Max Adelman’s Photo shoots at Camp Coleman

I always try to incorporate locations that reflect your child’s interests when I create the portraits for the signing book or board.

Max cherished his times at Camp Coleman, so when mom Amy suggested that as a locale for one of the shoots I said yes! We make the drive through the beautiful North Georgia mountains, arrived at Camp Coleman and with my son Noah as assistant, created portraits of Max at one of his favorite places!

Max is also an accomplished cellist, and I wanted to create a portrait that would appeal to Max as well as his parents. I scouted out some railroad tracks, and with a chair we found there came up with this take on Max and the cello.

We also wondered around downtown a bit, just for some background. Here are some of the faves from Max’s sessions.

Emma Toor’s Bat Miztvah at The Metropolitan Club

Emma was Bat Mitzvah at Temple Kehillat Chaim in Roswell! That was my first time at the Temple, it was a beautiful place to make portraits of her at the Bimah. She held her Simcha at The Metropolitan Club on Saturday night. For her celebration, Emma chose to appear as Dorothy from the “Wizard of Oz”, becoming the star of the phenomenal decor by Total Lunacy. The amazing DJ Tod rocked the house, and everyone had a great time!

Check out the photos for a look at Emma’s weekend!
